Passive 8" Studio Reference Monitors
When ESI introduced the Near 08 Passive shielded reference monitor it was just the beginnig of a highly successful line of monitoring speakers. ESI has built an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of professional quality digital audio/MIDI interfaces for music production before that already.
Near 08 Passive have been designed to overcome the limitations of conventional reference monitors. They boast a stable and balanced low and mid frequency response along with a defined MF and HF response. Both the LF and HF drivers are completely shielded for use in a desktop music production environment.
